Donnie Franklin Hesson, age 64, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. Funeral Services for Donnie Hesson are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 2 PM from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend John Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 5 PM until 9 PM, Saturday, from 11 AM until 9 PM, and on Sunday, from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM.
Family is requesting memorials in the form of donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Donnie Hesson is survived by; Son, Jimmy Hesson and wife, Sandy; Daughter, Nicole Hesson Harriman; Brother, Kenneth Hesson and wife, Bonnie; Sisters, Pat Russell and husband, Bobby, Rhoda Wilmore and husband, Billy, Janice Dean Oldham and husband, Randall,
Kim Scott and husband, Mike, Frances Poynter and husband, Tyrone; Grandchildren, Austin Matthews, Logan Hesson, Tierra Harriman, Marissa Harriman, and Abby Jane Harriman; Mother-in-law, Louise Tosh; Sisters-in-law, Helen Hesson, Darlene Hesson; Brother-in-law, Benny Crowder.
Donnie Hesson is survived locally by her Daughter; Nicole Hesson Harriman and Granddaughters; Marissa Harriman and Abby Jane Harriman all of Carthage, and Sister; Frances Poynter and her Husband, Tyrone of Carthage, TN.
