Mr. Davy Gentry, age 43, of Tanglewood, died Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2020, at Riverview Regional in Carthage.

He is survived by: wife, Michelle Kemp Gentry; 2 children, Dawson Gentry and Elizabeth Gentry; parents, Eddie and Teresa Gentry of Tanglewood; brother, Wynn Gentry and wife Amy of Rome; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Diane Kemp of Tanglewood.

Mr. Gentry is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his Private Family Service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, May 10, at 3:00 PM. Eld. Rickey Brooks will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Wynn Gentry, Chris Kemp, Edward Lankford, Jason Brooks, Jeremy Mabery, Michael Driver, Enoch Gentry, Andrew Gentry.

Visitation for family only on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.

The family has requested memorials to the Gentry Children Education Fund.
