Mr. David “Red Dog” Davis, age 62, of McClures Bend, died Friday morning, June 19, at Riverview Regional Medical Center. He is survived by: wife, Gail Davis; 2 children, Shannon Davis and wife Bea of McClures Bend and Stacy Davis and wife Debbie of Gordonsville; 4 brothers, Jim Davis and wife Lois of Pleasant Shade, Barry Davis and wife Francis of Lawrenceburg, Randy Davis and wife Karen of Gamaliel, KY, and Joe Davis and wife Shelia of Glasgow, KY; 4 grandchildren, Dakota Davis, Kimberly Davis, Ashley Butler and husband Chris and Jordan Davis.
Mr. Davis is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday, June 21, at 3:00 PM. Bro. Jeff Burton and Bishop Alvin Hitchcock will officiate. Mr. Davis will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services in Algood.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 20th, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 21st, from 12:00 noon until service time at 3:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Family Funeral Fund.
