Mr. Dave Wilson Enoch, age 96, of the Plunketts Creek Community of Smith County passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Enoch was born March 4, 1929 a son of the late Dave Hugh Enoch and Ida Mae Tosh Enoch. He was married to Mai Nell Carr Enoch who passed away on April 4, 2019, on July 17, 1955. He was also preceded in death by grandson, David Hugh Moss: sisters, Myrtle and JoAnne; son-in-laws, Ronnie Hutchings and George Adcock. A jack of all trades Mr. Enoch owned and operated a paving company, bar, and car lots. He was a missionary Baptist.
Mr. Enoch is survived by three daughters: Marcy Enoch Adcock of Jacksonville, NC, Darnell Enoch of California, and Davene Hutchings of White Bluff, TN; grandchildren, Billye Jean (Robert Tedrow) Enoch, Dave (Casey) Hutchings and Veronica (Jesse) Vanderpool; great-grandchildren, Brayden Haskins, Branden Haskins, Bryan Haskins, Daycee Huchings, Trenton Bradshaw, Jackson Baxter, Carter Baxter and Kennedi Vanderpool.
Mr. Enoch is at the Carthage chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Graveside services and interment for Mr. Enoch will be at the Middle Tn State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 Mccrory Lane, Nashville, TN on Monday October 6, 2025 at 1PM with Bro Dennis Croslin officiating. Military Honors will be held at the graveside service.
