Mr. Carroll Overstreet, age 86 of Franklin, Tennessee and long time resident of the Elmwood Community, died Sunday evening, September 27 at his home. He is survived by: wife, Louise Overstreet; daughter, Jennifer Earps and husband Lee of Nashville; 2 step-daughters, Lisa Kirkpatrick of Franklin and Dana Kirkpatrick of Murfreesboro; 1 granddaughter, Caroline Roe of Nashville.
Services for Mr. Overstreet will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, September 30 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Church in the Sullivans Bend Community. Mike Overstreet will officiate. Interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #57. Serving as pallbearers are: Michael Overstreet, Steven Overstreet, Adam Overstreet, Greg Davis, Lee Earps, Chris Roe.
Visitation on Wednesday only at the Mt. Zion Church from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 PM.
