Mr. Bruce Parr
Mr. Bruce Parr, age 72 of Turkey Creek, died Saturday morning, February 18, at Tennova Healthcare in Lebanon. He is survived by: wife, Brenda Green Parr; daughters, Kim Parr Harris and husband Chris of Kempville, Heather Parr Kenyon of Gordonsville; 3 grandchildren, Justin Harris and wife, Kelsey of Brush Creek, Seth Harris of Kempville and Emily Kenyon of Gordonsville; 1 great-grandchild, Ares Harris; mother-in-law, Opal Green.
Mr. Parr is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, February 21, at 1:00 PM. Eld. Jeff Patterson will officiate. Interment with Military Honors at the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as Active pallbearers will be the Vietnam Veterans #240; Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, Jerry Towns, Kenny Williams and Chris Manus.
Visitation will begin on Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Friendship Primitive Baptist or Smith County Cancer Fund.
