Mr. Bruce Douglas Rader age 52, of the Sykes Community, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Rader was born February 5, 1963 in Nashville, TN, the Son of Leon and Ruby Simmons Rader. He married Julie Ann Washer on June 23, 1990. Bruce was a 1981 graduate of GHS, and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Graphic Packaging in Gordonsville for 25 years. Bruce was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Carthage, TN.
Mr. Rader is survived by Wife; Julie Rader of Sykes, TN. Children; Gabriel (Destiny) Rader of Elmwood, TN, and Grace Rader of Sykes, TN. Siblings; Anita (Donnie) Phillips of Gordonsville, TN, Beverly (Randy) King of Pleasant View, TN, and Charles Rader of Gordonsville, TN. Father and Mother, Leon and Ruby Rader of Gordonsville, TN. Mother-in-Law; Mary Rose of Lebanon, TN, and Step Mother-in-Law; Cindy Washer Grisham and her husband Chester Grisham.
Funeral Services for Mr. Rader are scheduled to be conducted at the Cornerstone Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2PM. Bro. Ron Ralph will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation with the Rader family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday, July 21, from 2PM until 8PM and at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Carthage, TN on Wednesday, July 22, from 10AM until the time of the service at 2PM.
