Mr. Bobby Gene Manning
Mr. Bobby Gene Manning, age 84, of Gordonsville, TN, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home of Parkinson’s, Dementia, and Pulmonary complications.
Bobby was born as a twin on March 20, 1936 at Protestant Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by parents, Buford Brown and Volina Ligon Manning, Dot Manning; infant daughter, Anna Yvonne Manning, Sister, Martha Hite.
Bobby was a 1957 graduate of Smith County High School. He was a retiree of Ryder PIE Truck Lines, Nashville, TN. He attended Gordonsville Church of the Nazarene. His favorite hobby was mowing the grass night or day on his John Deere Tractor.
He is survived by wife, Gyla Stewart Manning; children; Tim (Stacy) Manning, John (Cassandra) Manning, Eric (Peggy) Manning, Kim (Scott) Ezell, Amy (Ricky) Gibbs, and Lisa (Rusty) Nixon; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; siblings, twin Billy (Eunice) Manning, Buddy Manning, Donald (Cindy) Manning, and Carolyn (Bud) Hyde.
Services will be private.
