Mr. Bobby Brown Sr., age 75 of Horseshoe Bend, died Thursday evening, May 19 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. He is survived by: wife, Joyce Brown; children, Sandy Silcox and husband Joe of Horseshoe Bend, Rhonda Yount and husband Benny of Horseshoe Bend, Renee’ Smith and husband Chris of Plunketts Creek; siblings, Billy Brown and wife Opal of Carthage, Stella Grisham and husband Andy of South Carthage, Walter Brown Jr and wife Mary Lou of Horseshoe Bend; 5 grandchildren, Dylan Yount and wife Charlie, Abby Smith, Jake Yount, Chloe and Brady Saunder; great-grandchild, Sophia Yount.
Mr. Brown is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, May 22 at 3:00 PM. Eld. Beau Beechboard and Jerry Craighead will officiate. Interment in Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Jimmy Enoch, Jamin Craighead, Jerry Craighead, Steve Hopper, Jake Yount, Jeremy Brown, Thomas Silcox.
Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until service time at 3:00 PM.
