Mr. Anthony (Peanut) Payne
Mr. Anthony (Peanut) Payne age 55, of Brush Creek, TN, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home.
Peanut was born November 7, 1960 in Nashville, TN the son of Martha Moss Payne and the late O’Neal Payne. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Grady and Johnie Fletcher Moss and Benjamin and Bessie Beasley Payne; several uncles and one aunt.
Peanut is survived by two daughters: Bari Hitchcock (Shawn Turner) of Lancaster, TN and Beth Curtis (Josh Scott) of Carthage, TN. Three Grandchildren: Isabella, Khloe, and Jaxon. Mother: Martha Moss Payne of Brush Creek, TN. Two Brothers: Terry (Melonee) Payne of Brush Creek, TN and Timmy (Chili Bean)( Michelle) Payne of Brush Creek, TN. One Niece: Lairen (Adam) Warden. Five Nephews: Lee Holmes, Brody, Nic, Zac and Nathan Payne.
Funeral Services for Peanut are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1PM with Bro. Mark Stinnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the Payne family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and again on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of the service at 1PM.
