Mr. Allen Ray Jones
Mr. Allen Ray Jones, age 80, of Gordonsville, TN, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Jones was born November 19, 1935 in Silver Point, TN, the Son of the late Beecher Jones and Kizie Carr. He was also preceded in death by beloved pet; Snapper. Mr. Jones was a 30 year veteran of the U.S. Military, serving 15 years in the U.S. Air Force and another 15 years in the U.S. National Guard. He married Mildred Bennett Jones on May 16, 1969.
Mr. Jones is survived by Wife; Mildred Bennett Jones of Gordonsville, TN. Three Children; Norma (Bernie) Gregory of Gordonsville, TN. Lisa (Jimmy) Brown of Gordonsville, TN, and Bill Jones of Elmira, NY. Sister; Ann Emerton of Baxter, TN. Grandchildren; Dustin (Jacki) Brown, John Jones, Jamie Phann, and Megan Palmer Brown. Great-Grandchildren; Cali-Grace Brown and Titus-Bo Brown.
Graveside Services and Interment with Military Honors for Mr. Jones are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Cemetery on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11AM with Bro. Richard Hackett officiating.
Visitation with the Jones family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes only on Thursday from 9AM until service time at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, the Jones Family requests donations be made to assist with the funeral expenses.
