Mickey Lynn Watson passed away at age 57 on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born on November 17, 1966, in Wilson County, Tennessee to Nancy Cowan Watson and the late Lynn Watson. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, L. B. and Minnie Lee Cowan and Martin and Ofala Watson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Mark Watson of Lenoir City, Tennessee, uncles David Watson and Billy Cowan and cousins, Brad Cowan, Cade Cowan and Lindsey Foster.
Visitation with the family was held Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37209.
A brief graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Gordonsville Cemetery,
22 Hickman Highway, Gordonsville, Tennessee. Burial arrangements are being handled by Bass Funeral Home, 71 Main St. East, Gordonsville, Tennessee 38563. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery for the 1:00 PM service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mickey’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
