Jeraldine Janet Dunn left this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 24, 2025. She was born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma on May 14, 1938 to the Rev. Vanloe S. and Lillian Mae (Rury) Wheeler and spent her childhood as a Nazarene preachers daughter, playing the piano for worship services as her father pastored churches in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and California. She was Valedictorian of her Grady New Mexico High School class, and graduated with a Masters Degree in Education from Pasadena Nazarene College in California.
She married Albert Ray Dunn in 1964 and both had careers in Education. She was a homemaker for her two children, Lisa Dunn of Carthage, TN and Mike Dunn of Kempville, TN. She continued her career in teaching after her children were grown and continued to serve on numerous church boards, missionary societies, and continued playing the piano for worship services. She is estimated to have played approximately 60,000 hymns in her ministry, just in worship services alone. She loved the Lord, loved serving people, loved her family, and never doubted the Lord’s will
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Dunn, son, Mike Dunn, daughter-in-law, Rachel Dunn, and two grandsons, Brennan Dunn and Jackson Dunn.
