On Sunday August 25, 2024, Harry John Seise of Carthage, TN passed away at home at the age of 63.
Harry was from St. Louis, Missouri where he attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School. Afterwards, Harry joined the US Navy where he served his country from 1980 to 1984 as Machinist Mate on the USS Denver. After being honorably discharged, Harry went back home to Missouri where he met his wife.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ruth Seise and his daughter Rebecca Seise. Harry is also survived by his two nephews, Matthew (Shannon) Holder and Steven (Callie) Holder, brother-in-law Wallace Holder, Jr, and several cousins. Harry is preceded in death by his father and mother, Harry L and Lorraine R Seise.
Anyone who knew Harry knew he loved to fish. Any time the weather was decent, and sometimes not even then, you could find Harry out on his boat. Harry enjoyed woodworking and building projects for his wife. During football season, Harry was rooting for his local team. Harry had a huge heart and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to help his fellow man or animal.
Visitation with the family will be held at the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 5PM until 7PM.
