The Holidays can be especially difficult after the death of a loved one. A special one session GriefShare group entitled “Surviving the Holidays” will be offered on three different dates this year. This meeting will give you many comforting ideas during this difficult time and offer a place you can share with others facing similar struggles. This event is sponsored by First Baptist Church Carthage, Bass Funeral Homes, and Sanderson Funeral Homes. Tim Frank, Pastor of First Baptist Church Carthage will be leading each session. You don’t have to walk on this journey through grief by yourself. Find encouragement, comfort, and support at the Surviving the Holidays GriefShare session at the sessions listed below:
- November 17, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Smith County Senior Citizens Center
- November 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce
- After Thanksgiving (date and time to be determined) to be held at the Pavilion Senior Living Center
