Master Easton Bush age 2 of the Popes Hill Community succumbed to his injuries in his mother’s arms at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville from injuries received in a single car automobile accident which occurred on Sunday evening August 25th in the Whites Bend Community of Jackson County. He was pronounced deceased at 4:39 a.m. Monday morning August 26, 2024.

Funeral services from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home will be conducted on Friday afternoon August 30th at 3 p.m. with Matt Oxley, minister of the Rome Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Angels at the Smith County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Sanderson in Carthage on Friday from 11 a.m. until the 3 p.m. services.

Master Easton was born Easton Aaron Bush at the same hospital where he went into the arms of the Angels, August 27, 2024 and his death was one day before his 3rd birthday. He was the son of Trinity Reye Madewell of the Popes Hill Community and Randall Paul Bush of South Carthage.

Master Easton was preceded in death by his two maternal grandfathers, Melvin Starnes and Phillip Goodman Sr.

He is also survived by two sisters, 5 year old Veronica Petty and 1 year old Aspyn Bush, both of the Popes Hill Community.

Surviving in addition to his parents and sisters are his maternal grandparents, Tiffanie and Phillip Goodman Jr. of the Popes Hill Community; paternal grandparents, Dianna and Randy Bush of South Carthage; maternal great-grandmothers, Savanah Starnes of Carthage, Debbie Cothern of Smyrna; paternal great-grandparents, Bobby and June Bush of the Lancaster Community, and Donna Sensabaugh of South Carthage.
