Dr. Bill (Doc) Paris

Dr. Bill (Doc) Paris, age 88 of Murfreesboro and longtime resident of the Dickerson Hollow in Pleasant Shade, died Saturday morning, May 18, 2019, at the Alive Hospice Residence in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by: wife, Nancy Paris; sons, Michael Paris of Longmont, Colorado, Kenneth Paris and wife Dorrine of San Francisco, California; step-son, Robert Long of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Brandy Wells and husband David of Murfreesboro; grandsons, Landon and Logan Long of Tampa, Florida, Austin Wells and Ryan Wells both of Murfreesboro.

Dr. Paris is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where memorial services will be conducted Friday, May 31 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Dr. Paris had pre-arranged to be cremated. Following the cremation at Cumberland Family Services in Algood, inurnment will be at the National Cemetery on Gallatin Road in Nashville.
