Mrs. Dorothie “Judy” Maxwell, age 83, of the Bradford Hill community, died Wednesday afternoon, June 17, at the Elmcroft Assisted Living in Lebanon. She is survived by: 4 children, Cynthia Givens-Harris and husband Randy, Russell Maxwell and wife Cindy, Daniel Maxwell and wife Kristi all of Gladeville, and John Maxwell and wife Barbara of Carthage; brother, Ken Brown of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren, Kathryn Merkel of Austin, TX, Jared Maxwell Givens of Tonkawa, OK, Virginia Anna Maxwell of Carthage, Sarah Elizabeth Maxwell, Morgan Amanda Maxwell, Jacob Daniel Maxwell and Connor Anthony Maxwell all of Gladeville; 1 great grandchild, Addilyn Grace Watkins.
Mrs. Maxwell is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday, June 20, at 1:00 PM. Pastor Mark Youngman and Pastor Bob Jared will officiate. Interment in the Rob Draper Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Friday, June 19, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Granville Museum or the Gladeville U.M.C. Youth Mission Fund.
