June Crockett was born June 5, 1950 in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at her residence in Gainesboro at the age of 72.
June was the daughter of Billy Dudney Anderson and Mary Irene Warren Anderson. She was a 5th grade science teacher at R M Fox Elementary School in Gainesboro for 28 years. She was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ and the Jackson County Historical Society.
Mrs. June was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Crockett who passed away on Nov. 10, 2005 and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Crockett.
Survivors include sons, Jeff (Lacey) Crockett of Brush Creek, TN and Jamie Crockett of Gainesboro; brother, Bill Buck (Debbie) Anderson of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Olivia Rose, Lauren Michelle, Ethan Matthew, Emma Grace, Alyssa Kate and a grand dog, Knox.
Visitation will be on Sunday, 1 pm to 8 pm and Monday, 9 am to 12 noon at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, August 22, 2022, with Bro. Duane Gossett, Bro. Matthew Scoggins and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jackson Smith County Youth Camp or Jackson Co. Middle School Beta Club by contacting the funeral home.
