Cody Reed Mitchell was born March 17th, 1989, in Nashville, TN to parents Lynn & Patsy Mitchell and departed this life on Saturday, August 31st, 2024, at the age of 35 years.
He was survived by wife Krystal Mitchell, daughters Gabriella (Gabby), Bella, Casondra; son, Damian; and his grandfather Boyd Mitchell of Lebanon, TN.
He was preceded in death by Grandmothers Anita Mitchell and Patricia Reed.
He was a member of Calvary of Port St. Lucie, where he found a community of faith that supported his family values and love for others. Cody was enthusiastic about life. He never met a stranger and his infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit and quick wit was contagious.
He was known for his deep love for fishing and his strong dedication to his family. His passion for fishing often found him at the water’s edge, reflecting on the beauty of nature and the simplicity of life.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and dedication to his loved ones will forever be cherished and remembered.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Saturday, October 19th at Flewellyn Baptist Church, 7054 Flewellyn Rd, Springfield, TN from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
