Charlotte Anne Gilbreath, 82, of Fort Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August, 22, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. Charlotte retired from American Campbell & Blueprint. She was a proud Army mother and spouse. Charlotte was known to her granddaughters as “Happy” and she was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Harrel David Gilbreath (Korean Veteran), sons David Jackson Gilbreath and Brian Baker Gilbreath (Desert Storm Veteran), and parents Fred Jackson Baker (East Lake Masonic Lodge #698) and Edna Ruth Langston Baker.
 
Survivors include her son Michael David (Susan) Gilbreath of Carthage, TN (Tompkins Masonic Lodge #466 Fort Oglethorpe, GA and New Middleton Lodge #249 Gordonsville, TN), granddaughters Ashleigh Gilbreath, Tabethia Gilbreath, daughter-in-law Gina Pearson and  granddaughters Brianne Pearson Beverly and Miranda Pearson.
 
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Father Jason Emerson of the Church of the Nativity officiating.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nativity and the American Cancer Society.
