Get ready runners of Smith County! On Sunday, October 18, beginning at 8 am, the Nashville Running Company will be hosting an enduring race on the Bearwaller Gap Trail, between the Defeated Creek campground and the Overlook.
The Bearwaller Gap Trail is not for the faint of heart with its narrow track and steep, rocky terrain. Runners must have completed a half marathon or race of longer distance in order to qualify. There will be one aid station at the halfway/turnaround point for runners who are injured or wish to drop from the race. All proceeds will benefit the Smith County Rescue Squad and the East Nasty Running Club. Click HERE to register.
