The Pleasant Shade Community Center will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, November 19, beginning at 6pm. The Center will be hosting this event monthly in order to help raise the funds to purchase a new heating and cooling system. The entry fee is $20 to participate, and cash will need to be presented the day of the tournament. Participants are required to be signed up by 4pm the day of the tournament. There will be a cash prize for first, second, and third place. All boards and bags will be provided, and concessions will be open to purchase food and drinks. Two man teams will be drawn at random at 4:30pm on tournament day. The first team to reach a score of 21 will be the winners. The winners bracket will include a best 2 out of 3 game, while the loser’s bracket will play one game only until the championship game which will again be best 2 out of 3.
