Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges, Including 2nd DUI Offense

June 29, 2016

A Hermitage woman was arrested Wednesday and faces numerous charges stemming from a suspicious vehicle report in Hickman.

The woman, 27-year-old Angel Lynn Boone, was stopped in the middle of Agee Branch Lane by the owner of the property she was on when Sgt. Jimmy Gregory of the Smith County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene.

Upon getting out of the vehicle, Boone was unsteady on her feet and stumbling around.

Gregory had her perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, to which she performed poorly.

A check of her driver’s license revealed that it had been revoked for DUI in 2015 in Wilson County.

An inventory of her vehicle produced drug paraphernalia, Xanax and marijuana.

Boone was transported to the Smith County Jail Facility for booking.

She is charged with Driving Under the Influence (2nd Offense), Driving on Revoked, Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule IV), Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule VI), and Felony Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
