On January 19th, 2021, Deputy Matt White detained Mr. Garry S. Bennett at the Gordonsville Pilot Gas station because of an active violation of probation out of Smith County.
During an investigation of Bennett’s person, 1.0 grams of crystal methamphetamine was found and seized. Nothing else was found upon the search of his vehicle.
Mr. Garry S. Bennett is charged with possession of methamphetamine, violation of probation and tampering with or fabricating evidence.
Bennett is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
