Have you ever wanted to learn more about canning fruits and vegetables? UT Extension Smith County is hosting a two-day Canning College on June 19 and 21, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gordonsville.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the basics of canning as well as current canning recommendations. The workshop will feature step-by-step instructions for both water-bath canning and pressure canning.
The cost to participate in the two-day workshop is $10. Space is limited to the first 12 participants who pay and pre-register.
