The Smith County Music Department has several exciting events planned before the school year comes to an end.
The first event is a Kids Party with Princesses and Superheroes from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, inside the SCHS Band Room.
The party is for kids of all ages! Admission is $5 per person, and kids 3 and under get in free.
Come eat cookies and have tea with your favorite superheroes and princesses! Dress up as your favorite hero or princess as well, and join in on the fun. The event will include a Crazy Photo Booth, Snacks, Coloring Area, and Games!
All proceeds from the Princesses and Superheroes Party will benefit the Smith County High School Band and Guard.
Then, on Monday, May 6, 2019, the Smith County Music Department will host the SCHS Spring Festival + Art Show, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the SCHS gym.
This will be the band’s final concert of the year.
The band will be performing music featuring the SCHS Journalism Class, Soprano Mia Miller, and members of the special needs class, and Ms. Terry and Mr. Dowell will be welcomed to the podium.
