Nashville – Colonel Tracy Trott of the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) presented two Gordonsville High School students with certificates and some other special items on Tuesday for their outstanding contributions to public safety. The two outstanding students were Joseph West and Caleb Ward.
These students are members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) class. They have conducted extensive research through surveys inside the school and community on seat belt usage. The presentation that they have put together won at the local and state level. They are now competing at the national level in San Diego, California on July 4th.
