Stephen Jackson Named New GHS Tiger Head Football Coach

Gordonsville High School would like to formally announce the hiring of Stephen Jackson as the new Head Football Coach.

Coach Jackson comes from 6A Powerhouse Oakland High School where he has served as the program’s Defensive Coordinator for the last 7 years. During his time on staff, the Patriots have won three 6A State Championships.

Prior to Oakland, Coach Jackson served 5 years as an assistant coach at Trousdale County. While on staff, the Yellow Jackets won 1 state championship.

Coach Jackson began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Gordonsville. He is a 2003 Graduate of Gordonsville High School, and a four year letterman for the tiger football program. Coach Jackson said, “My family and I are excited for this opportunity to be in Gordonsville and ready to get started!”
