A probation search was conducted by officers on August 1 after a Smith County woman made terroristic threats.
According to the police report, Kimberly Smith allegedly made threats to place dynamite around the Smith County jail with the intent to blow it up.
Sgt. Junior Fields, along with Sgt. Dusty Hailey, Sgt. Kendra Grisham and Deputy Ray Biggs, conducted a probation search at Smith’s McCrary Ct. residence after receiving information of the threat.
Upon speaking with Smith about the threats, officers also discovered Smith was in possession of Oxycodone and Gabapentin pills. Smith did have a prescription for the pills, but the number of pills discovered did not match the number of pills that should have been taken according to the prescription details.
Smith admitted to the officers that she had been selling pills to an individual.
Smith was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, and warrants were obtained for Obtaining Prescription by Fraud, Manufacture/Deliver/Sell/Possession Schedule II and Schedule V.
