December brought unusually warm weather and threats of tornadoes to the area and now January is bringing winter storms and very cold air. I can bring you some good news in the fact that we are going to warm up to the upper 40s on Saturday and the mid-50s on Sunday and melt snow but rain is likely.
When you look at past weather records you can see that following an unusually warm December we often go into some very cold and snowy weather through January and February and that trend has come true again this year. These are the kind of patterns I look for all the time and it’s really interesting what you discover sometimes.
