by Steve Norris – We have seen two major rain systems in Middle Tennessee this week but now drier air will come in on Friday along with a drop in temperatures. Highs will be in the mid 40s Friday and Saturday with partly to mostly cloudy skies. We have a chance of snow showers Saturday night and with temperatures near freezing there could be a few slick spots develop. We get back into the 50s with dry weather Sunday through Wednesday and the first week of March is looking warmer.
Looking back to 2018 on February 24th, 4 tornadoes hit Montgomery and Robertson counties with two injuries. One tornado was an EF2 in the Eastern portion of Clarksville. It may be a long time ago but it is worth mentioning on February 25th of 1894 Franklin recorded 11 inches of snow with 10 in Nashville.
