Skies are going to be off and on partly to mostly cloudy from Friday through Sunday with mild temperatures, highs in the low to mid 50s. It gets even better from Monday through Christmas day with partly sunny skies and high temperatures soaring into the 60s.
I did a little research to see what kind of weather we had on Christmas day in the past and here is what I found. The warmest Christmas was 76 in 1964 and the coldest was 5 Below Zero during the record cold wave of 1983 that set many records across the southeast.
The biggest snow on Christmas Day occurred in 1962 with over 4 inches on the ground.
I want to wish you a very merry Christmas!
