Following their Road Block Fundraiser on Saturday morning, April 1, the Smith County Rescue Squad had a busy evening responding to multiple calls on I-40.
The first call was a SUV rollover incident at the 264 Eastbound mile marker around 5pm. The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center via Lifelight.
A couple hours later, they were dispatched to the 263 Westbound mile marker for a rollover semi-truck incident. The patient in that incident was also airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
