Smith County Recreational Fast Pitch Softball League will be having live tryouts on March 9, 2019 and March 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Crump Paris Park in Carthage, Tennessee.
Please plan to attend the first date, if at all possible, in case of rain out.
Any child is eligible to play if they are 7 – 16 years of age as of January 1, 2019. All age groups will try out together.
Signups will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp. At 10:00 a.m., the girls will be placed on the field to be evaluated. They can be on the field warming up from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
A $40 Entry Fee must be paid at time of sign-ups. Parents will complete the paperwork upon arrival.
ALL GIRLS WILL BE CHOSEN ON A TEAM. NO CHILD WILL BE CUT.
Please make sure your child brings all equipment needed for tryouts:
- Helmet w/face mask
- Glove
- Bat (is she prefers her own)
- Field Facemask (if you haven’t purchased one, we will have extra at the field to borrow for the tryout).
In case of rainout, all children are required to sign up. In case of rain, signups will be held upstairs in the PressBox from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on both dates.
