The annual William Walton Days Celebration is set to be held at the historic Smith County Courthouse on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9am to 5pm. During this year’s celebration, the Smith County Noon Rotary Club will be hosting the Rotary 5k/10k River Run. Registration will begin at 7am on Saturday morning and the race will begin promptly at 8am. Registration will be $25 for the 5k race and $35 for the 10k race. Participants must be pre-registered to guarantee a T-shirt. Awards will be given for the top male and female runners in 7 age groups. You may register online at www.active.com. Please make all checks payable to the Smith County Noon Rotary Club. Your checks may be dropped off at Smith County Drugs in Carthage, Citizens Bank of Carthage and Gordonsville, Smith County Bank in Carthage, and Wilson Bank and Trust of Carthage and Gordonsville.
