The Smith County Lady Owls Soccer Team took part in a preseason Playday in Portland TN. The team played four shortened games and came away very successful with two wins and two draws. They followed that with another preseason session at Friendship Christian on Tuesday August 10th winning with both Varsity and JV teams.
Boston Butt Fundraiser weekend, August 13 and 14th is always a great team building time and the team would like to say Thank you to everyone who supported the Boston Butt Sale. This is always such an important fundraiser for this team and helps make sure they have what they need to compete and be successful.
The home opener/season opener will be Tuesday August 17th against White County. On Thursday August 19th Smith County will host Dekalb County for both Varsity and JV games. Smith County has a very solid team this year, partnered with a strong schedule, this promises to be a very exciting season. Come out and support these young ladies and show your SCP.
