Head to Granville, Tennessee, this Saturday, June 29, 2019, for a 4th of July Celebration featuring food, fun, music, and fireworks! Fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m.
- Red, White, & BREW Festival at Wildwood Resort and Marina in Granville, Tennessee
Come out and enjoy your favorite Upper Cumberland breweries! Tickets are $20 and include 10 beers! The event is from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. Live music all day and fireworks at dusk!

- The Lancaster Independence Day Parade in Lancaster, Tennessee
The 15th Annual Lancaster Independence Day Parade will take place on Sunday, June 30, 2019, along Lancaster Highway, 7 miles east of Gordonsville.
Parade line-up is at 5:00 p.m. and the parade will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. The evening’s 4th of July festivities will also include live music by Blue Hollow bluegrass band and the 129th Army Band from Nashville and a dazzling fireworks show, which will begin after sundown.

- The Smith County Fair on the River in Carthage, Tennessee
The 2019 Smith County Fair on the River is happening July 1-6, 2019, with special festivities for the 4th of July on Thursday. Head to the fair to watch the Demolition Derby, live music from The Jolly String Quartet and Voice winner Craig Wayne Boyd, the area’s largest fireworks display, and more!

Thursday, July 4 – Gates open at 4:30 p.m., Carnival opens at 5:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m. – Open Beef Show
- 6:30 p.m. – The Jolly String Quartet at the Carthage Rotary Club Music Stage
- 6:30 p.m. – David Turner and Friends – Ventriloquist at Wilson Bank Community Kids Stage
- 7:00 p.m. – CONCERT – Craig Wayne Boyd
- 7:00 p.m. – Demolition Derby
- 8:00 p.m. – David Turner and Friends – Ventriloquist at Wilson Bank Community Kids Stage
- 9:15 p.m. – $250 Cash Giveaway at Russell Nixon Arena
- 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks
- Defeated Creek Marina 4th of July Celebration in Carthage, Tennessee
Festivities at the Defeated Creek Marina’s 4th of July Celebration on Thursday, July 4, will begin with a water slide at 3:00 p.m., followed by the 5th Annual Shrimp Boil at 5:00 p.m. A concert by Beatles tribute band Forever Abbey Road will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the night will end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $12 per person. Children 10 and under get in free.
Additionally, Tennessee Kayak and Outdoor Company will be bringing kayaks to the lake! $60 gets you a kayak rental on the lake, admission to the shrimp boil, water slide, and fireworks show, all for one great price!

- Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival in Smithville, Tennessee
The 48th Annual Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree and Crafts Festival is coming on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th, 2019, to Downtown Smithville, Tennessee. Each day begins at 9:00 a.m. with over 35 music and dance categories, streets full of hand-made crafts, and food booths galore. Come and see for yourself why this FREE family-friendly festival has been named the official Jamboree & Crafts Festival of the State of Tennessee.
The old-time Fiddlers’ Jamboree is a DeKalb County tradition that draws musicians, craft artists, and spectators to the Smithville Square each summer around the Independence Day weekend. Over time, the festival became a broader tribute to Appalachian art and culture. Thousands of tourists visit the festival every year, along with television viewers across the country via WCTE-TV and various PBS stations nationwide.
