Starting in the new year, Smith County Insider will begin live streaming the meetings of the Carthage City Council.
Smith County Insider has decided to begin streaming Carthage City Council meetings following a call for transparency from many Carthage citizens and city council members.
Currently, Smith County Insider live streams meetings of the Smith County Commission and the Smith County School Board.
The Smith County Insider staff is looking forward to adding the Carthage City Council to that list, with hopes to continue to expand live coverage in the future.
The Carthage City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month inside the James A. Clay Municipal Building, located at 314 Spring Street in Carthage, Tennessee.
The next meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Tune in to Smith County Insider’s Facebook page to see the live stream!
