Animal lovers in Smith County have a great reason to come together for a cause this April! The Smith County Humane Benefit Auction and Pancakes for Paws Breakfast will take place on Saturday, April 5th, at the Smith County Ag Center in Carthage. These events aim to raise crucial funds to support local animals in need.
The day will kick off with Pancakes for Paws, a delicious breakfast event running from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. For just $7 per person (or $4 for kids 12 and under), attendees can enjoy a meal that includes three pancakes, two sausage links, and a choice of coffee or orange juice. This fun and heartwarming breakfast will help fuel the community for the exciting auction to follow.
At 10:00 AM, the Smith County Humane Benefit Auction will begin, featuring a variety of donated new and gently used items. Generous donors can still contribute by dropping off items at the Ag Center from March 31st to April 2nd (10 AM – 4 PM), with extended drop-off hours on April 3rd and 4th (10 AM – 7 PM). The auction, managed by Butlers Auction Firm #6059, promises to be an exciting event where attendees can bid on unique treasures while supporting a great cause.
All proceeds from both events will go directly toward Smith County Humane, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals in need.
