The Smith County High School Marching Band got the opportunity of a lifetime on Sunday when they performed at the 52nd NASCAR Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Pride of the Upper Cumberland, directed by Davey Edmaiston, performed a four-song set that included “Carry On Wayward Son,” “Friends in Low Places,” “Hey Baby,” and “Welcome to the Jungle.”

The band also performed “America the Beautiful” as Air Force One flew over Daytona Speedway and serenaded President Trump with “Hail to the Chief” as the president’s motorcade passed by prior to the race.
