Smith County Heritage Museum ‘Trees of Christmas’

December 2, 2021

The Smith County Heritage Museum ‘Trees of Christmas’ is a special holiday highlight to enjoy at the local history museum. Family and Community Education Clubs (FCE) from all across Smith County have spruced up their pines according to various themes that align with the year-round displays at the Museum. Hand-made ornaments, ribbons and bows come together beautifully to represent specific time periods, Smith County Century Farms, community groups and interests.

The Mack Holliman Family decorated a tree in memory of their father who attended the historical Green Hill Academy School in Smith County.

This special holiday display can be enjoyed through the new year during Museum hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Smith County Heritage Museum is located at 107 3rd Avenue East in Carthage. It also features unique Smith County gift opportunities. Admission to the museum is free.
