The Smith County Help Center is now accepting new toys and financial gifts for its Christmas Toyland. This project makes it possible for children who come from low-income families to receive new toys for Christmas. You may drop off items you would like to donate at the Smith County Help Center between 10am and 4pm Monday through Friday or on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
You may also mail checks and gift cards to Smith County Help Center P.O. Box 282, Carthage, TN 37030. All donations should be made by Tuesday, December 1.
The help center will also be taking Christmas Applications beginning November 6 through December 8, 2017 All applicants can pick up an application at the Help Center and return it between 10am and 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, to be schedule for your Toyland visit in December. Appointments can be made by calling 615-735-8090. To be eligible you must present, parents ID and social, proof of income, the children’s social security cards and proof of Smith County residency.
