Smith County Health Department to offer free flu shots on November 19, 2020

On Thursday, November 19, 2020, the Smith County Health Department will be hosting a completely free flu clinic to administer flu shots, distribute information, and protect as many individuals as possible. This will be a drive thru event to limit contact, and the community is asked to please remain in your vehicle for the process.

This free clinic will take place from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Smith County Ag Center located at 159 Ag Center Ln in South Carthage.

The Health Department is also offering drive-thru flu vaccines at no charge to patients on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00 pm through 4:00 pm. at the Health Department at 251 Joy Alford Way in South Carthage.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Tennessee Department of Health recommend that everyone six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year.
