The Smith County Fair on the River received second runner-up in division A at the 96th Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention last week in Nashville. There are over 40 fairs are in division A in the state.
The 2018 Fair on the River will be held July 2-7, 2018. A new carnival company, The James Gang, will be providing rides and games for the 2018 fair. The James Gang also provides carnival services for Overton, Putnam, and White County Fairs.
