Smith County EMS currently has (2) Full Time Paramedic openings. Starting pay for Paramedic is $15.32 an hour. Critical Care Paramedic Starting Pay is $17.17 an hour. Critical Care Certification is not required to apply, but is a plus. Smith County EMS has good equipment and aggressive protocols backed by a top notch Medical Director. Smith County EMS staffs 3 Stations on a 24/48 shift, and our yearly call volume is around 3000 calls.
