The Smith County Democratic Party officially elected its 2025 Board Members and Executive Committee. The meeting marked a new chapter for the local party as it looks ahead to a year of civic engagement, community outreach, and organizational growth.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and take place on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the basement of the Carthage Library, located at 215 Main Street. All Democrats, as well as community members interested in learning more or getting involved, are encouraged to attend.
