The Smith County Animal Clinic in Carthage is excited to introduce the newest addition to the team. Dr. Katie Washart, is a 2021 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University, where she earned both her Master’s degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Originally from southern New Jersey, Dr. Washart brings 4.5 years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and leadership roles—giving her a strong foundation in providing high-quality, compassionate care when pets need it most.
With Dr. Washart joining our team, the clinic is excited to offer more availability—including same-day appointments—so your pets can get the care they need, when they need it.
