Members of the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO) joined state and local elected officials on Friday, Jan. 21, 2021 to provide cleaning supplies and food to members of four Tennessee fire departments in Sumner, Robertson, Macon, and Smith counties. The outreach events were part of the ongoing work by the SFMO to highlight the work of Tennessee fire departments and first responders across the Volunteer State.
The SFMO team met with members of the Carthage Fire Department (213 Spring St., Carthage TN 37030) in Smith County. Representative Terri Lynn Weaver, Carthage City Mayor Sarah Marie Smith and City of Carthage firefighters attended the event.
