The past few weeks, “The Spot” has been hosting a weekly Fun “Spot” Friday at the United Methodist Church in Carthage.
The Spot, led by Barbara Kanappel and others, is a place where kids of all ages get together and gave fun, work on skills, and learn the value of positive action.
This idea was carried over to their Fun “Spot” Friday events, held every Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
SCI Reporter JR Smith had the opportunity to visit and speak with those involved in Fun “Spot” Friday, including Dr. Angela Lane, who was over the program that day.
The last Fun “Spot” Friday of the month is this Friday, July 27, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
